Quodsi Version: 2026.04.14

Summary

This release introduces secure user authentication, a foundational backend API, and improved simulation cost modeling—marking a major step toward persistent models, multi-user workflows, and scalable analysis.

You can now sign into Quodsi directly within Lucidchart, while behind the scenes, a new API layer enables structured storage of models, scenarios, and simulation runs. We’ve also improved cost accuracy in simulations and refactored the analysis dashboard for future extensibility.

New Features

User Authentication in Lucidchart (Kinde Integration)

Overview
Users can now securely sign into Quodsi directly within the Lucidchart extension using Kinde authentication. This enables user-specific data, saved models, and future collaboration workflows—a key step toward making Quodsi a persistent platform, not just a session-based tool.

User Interface

  • Sign-in link appears when logged out

  • User name + sign-out dropdown shown when authenticated

  • Seamless sign-in without interrupting workflow

Quodsi API (Foundational Backend Platform)

Overview
Introduces a new backend API that stores and manages models, scenarios, and simulation runs. This unlocks the foundation for: Saved simulation models, Scenario management, Historical run tracking and Multi-user and multi-platform workflows

General Improvements

Several improvements have been made to streamline modeling and scenario execution:

  • Simulation Cost Scaling Improvement

  • Analysis Dashboard Refactor

  • Fixed state reset issue when changing data types (prevents stale values)

  • Removed incorrect “small inbound queue” validation warning
